2. Live Comic, Upper East Side

Comic Strip Live opened in 1975 and is therefore the oldest comedy club in New York and the world, so it is obviously one of the best comedy clubs in New York. Artists such as Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Jerry Seinfeld and many more began their careers there, and they even return from time to time for new performances. 3. Gotham Comedy Club, Chelsea

Located in a 1929 building next to the historic Chelsea Hotel, Gotham Comedy Club is known for its design and atmosphere, as well as its fantastic lineups. 5. New York Comedy Club, Multiple Locations
